Project It
Stand about 10 feet from the wall
Project roughly 60–70 inches wide
Hold thumb at arm's length — clay should look about half a thumb wide when it crosses the middle of the wall. If it's bigger, step closer; smaller, step back or size down.
What You're Looking At
Green disc — the clay target
Blue crosshair — where your muzzle needs to point
Laser vs Shotgun — Why the Blue Is Ahead
Your laser is instant. Shotgun pellets take ~0.09 sec to arrive.
In that 0.09 sec, the clay moves. The blue crosshair is where the clay will be by the time pellets arrive.
Aim your laser at the BLUE, not the green. Landing on blue = you executed correct lead for a real shotgun.
If your dot lands on the green clay, you'd miss behind at the range.
Training Flow
1. Lead ON, slow speed. Just watch — memorize the gap.
2. Lead ON, normal speed. Mount gun, aim, "fire." Laser dot should land on blue crosshair.
3. Lead OFF. Aim blind. Toggle back on to check yourself.
4. Crank speed when comfortable — the blue crosshair adjusts automatically.
